Before the Rainbow

““Doh’s poetic voice reveals a particularly pungent denunciation against human abuse and corruption which is fully compatible … with the celebration of hope and the enthusiastic pursuit of the light of freedom. Doh is, indeed, an impassionate patriot poet who aims at leading his people, considered as outsiders within their own country. In that sense, should his voice be heard, he would become – in a twist to the famous Shelleyan quote – an acknowledged legislator of the world, a voice that would make a difference to the lives of many of his fellow Cameroonians.”
